DAY 1: MARRAKECH OUARZAZATE GORGE DADES
7 HOURS
This wonderful 3 day Sahara Desert Tour from Marrakech; Start from your hotel and travel on the beautiful Tiz’n Tichka (2,260) with spectacular landscapes, Berber villages, and ever-changing landscapes along the way. Then visit the magnificent 12th century Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou – UNESCO World Heritage Site. After a while, in this small village, we go to the green oasis of Skoura with palm trees and an old kasbah before continuing through the Valley of Roses. Our 3-day Marrakech desert tour will then cross small mountains with a nice view of the villages, and the Berber valleys to go off the road to visit the nomad caves in the Atlas and stop for a glass of tea. In the afternoon, passing through the Dades valley, you reach the Dades Gorge rocks. Here you will have dinner and spend the night in a charming guest house on the edge of the river.
DAY 2 : GORGES DADES MERZOUGA
5 HOURS
After breakfast, you will head for Tinghir and a short visit to the Todra Gorges. Then continue through an area with fossils, small villages, and oases. We stop for lunch at Tinjdad, After heading to the dunes of Merzouga. Here the camels are waiting for you to take you to the desert for trekking, and when you arrive at the Merzouga dunes, later you can do some sandboarding and see the beautiful sunset over the dunes. Later you can enjoy the local Berber music and dinner before sleeping in the camp under the stars.
DAY 3 : MERZOUGA MARRAKECH
8 HOURS
On the 3rd day, get ready for an early sunrise camel ride at Merzouga Sahara Desert. Then drive back to Marrakech through the best landscapes of the Anti-Atlas Mountains to the village of Nkob. Once in Ouarzazate, feel free to ask your driver to stop at the film Studios if you wish. You can have lunch at leisure in the city center.
