Getting to Marrakech

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech

After a comfortable transfer to your traditional riad in the medina, you’ll have free time to relax, wander the nearby souks, or enjoy your first Moroccan tea on a rooftop terrace overlooking the city’s red rooftops. Day 2: Discover Marrakech
Today, you’ll explore Marrakech with a local guide. Highlights include the Koutoubia Mosque, the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the bustling souks. You’ll also visit Jemaa el-Fna Square, where street performers and food stalls create a vibrant atmosphere. After lunch, you’ll have free time for shopping or a hammam experience. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 3: Marrakech → Atlas Mountains → Ait Ben Haddou → Boumalne Dades
After breakfast, you’ll depart via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka pass through the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, you’ll stop to visit Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed ksar and famous filming location. After lunch, continue to Ouarzazate (visit optional film studios or Taourirt Kasbah), then through the Valley of the Roses to Dades Valley. Overnight in a guesthouse in Boumalne Dades.
Day 4: Dades Gorge → Todra Gorge → Merzouga → Sahara Camp
In the morning, you’ll explore the Dades Gorge before continuing to Todra Gorge, a dramatic canyon popular with climbers. After lunch in Tinejdad or Erfoud, you’ll reach Merzouga. From here, you’ll ride a camel into the dunes of Erg Chebbi and enjoy sunset views. Dinner and overnight in a desert camp under the stars, with optional music and campfire experience.
Day 5: Merzouga → Ziz Valley → Midelt → Ifrane → Fes
Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, then return by camel or 4×4. After breakfast, depart for Fes via the Ziz Valley, enjoying views of palm groves and traditional ksars. You’ll stop for lunch in Midelt and pass through the cedar forests near Azrou, keep an eye out for Barbary macaques. Continue to Ifrane, known as “Little Switzerland,” before arriving in Fes in the evening. Overnight in a traditional riad.
Day 6: Fes → Casablanca (via City Tour or Direct Transfer)
In the morning, you can enjoy a guided tour of Fes if time permits, exploring Al Quaraouiyine University, Bou Inania Madrasa, and the tanneries. Then head toward Casablanca.
