Once you land, we’ll be waiting to greet you and transfer you to your accommodation in the medina. If you’re already in Morocco, you can reach Marrakech via train or intercity bus from cities like Casablanca, Fes, or Agadir.

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech – Airport Pickup & Welcome

Your 8-day Marrakech itinerary begins with a warm welcome at Marrakech Menara Airport. Our driver will transfer you to a traditional riad located in the heart of the old medina. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax on the rooftop terrace or take a short walk to get your first taste of Marrakech’s buzzing souks and street life. Dinner is usually available at the riad or at a nearby restaurant of your choice.

Day 2: Marrakech City Tour – Full Exploration

After breakfast, you’ll meet your local guide for a private tour of Marrakech. You’ll visit iconic sites such as the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the Koutoubia Mosque (from the outside). Dive into the lively souks, where artisans sell everything from spices to leather. You’ll also explore the labyrinthine streets of the medina and end the day in Jemaa el-Fna square, where street performers, food stalls, and music come alive at sunset. Overnight in the same riad.

Day 3: Marrakech → Ait Ben Haddou → Dades Valley (310 km, 6 hrs)

Today, you’ll leave Marrakech early and begin your drive over the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 meters). Along the way, stop at viewpoints and Berber villages. By midday, you’ll reach the famous Ait Ben Haddou kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. After lunch and a guided visit, continue to Ouarzazate and then through the Valley of Roses to Boumalne Dades, where you’ll check into a hotel or guesthouse overlooking the valley.

Day 4: Dades Valley → Todra Gorges → Merzouga Desert (270 km, 5 hrs)

After breakfast, drive through the dramatic Dades Gorge and continue to the towering Todra Canyons, where you’ll have time to walk and enjoy the scenery. Then, head to Merzouga, on the edge of the Sahara. Arrive in the afternoon and trade your vehicle for a camel as you trek across the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Enjoy sunset in the desert before reaching your camp, where you’ll have dinner, music by the fire, and a night under the stars.

Day 5: Merzouga → Ziz Valley → Midelt → Fes (470 km, 8 hrs)

Wake up early to catch sunrise over the dunes, then return to the village by camel. After breakfast, begin your long but scenic drive to Fes. Along the way, pass through the lush Ziz Valley, stop for lunch in Midelt, and admire the alpine-style town of Ifrane. Arrive in Fes by evening and check into a charming riad within or near the old medina.

Day 6: Fes City Tour → Chefchaouen (215 km, 4.5 hrs)
