BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. INTRODUCTION

Welcome to Morocco Sahara Tourism (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, including booking tours, excursions, and related travel arrangements. By booking a trip with us, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these Terms.

2. BOOKING AND PAYMENT

2.1 Booking Confirmation: Your booking is confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit or full payment, depending on the tour package.

2.2 Deposit & Balance Payment: A deposit is required to secure your reservation, with the remaining balance due before or on the first day of the tour.

2.3 Accepted Payment Methods: We accept bank transfers, credit cards, and PayPal for deposits. The remaining balance may be paid in cash (in Euros, US Dollars, British Pounds, or local currency) or via electronic payment (subject to a 5% transaction fee).

2.4 Currency Conversion: Prices are typically quoted in Euros. If you choose to pay in another currency, the exchange rate will be based on xe.com at the time of payment.

By booking on behalf of another person or persons, you represent and warrant that you have obtained all required consents. You are responsible for verifying that any information you provide on behalf of another participant is complete and accurate and the Tour Operator will under no circumstances be liable for any errors or omissions in the information provided to complete a booking.

3. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

3.1 Cancellation by the Traveler:

  • Cancellations made 30 days or more before the tour start date: 50% of the deposit refunded (except during peak seasons such as Easter and Christmas, where only 30% is refundable).

  • Cancellations made 15-30 days before the tour start date: 30% of the deposit refunded (no refund during peak seasons).

  • Cancellations made less than 15 days before the tour start date: No refund.

3.2 Cancellation by Us: If we cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, political instability), you will receive a full refund.

3.3 Force Majeure: In cases of unavoidable events (e.g., war, terrorism, severe health crises, or natural disasters), a full refund will be provided, but no additional compensation will be paid.

4. CHANGES TO ITINERARY

4.1 Flexibility: While we strive to maintain the itinerary, unexpected conditions (e.g., weather, road closures) may require adjustments.

4.2 Traveler’s Requested Changes: Any requested modifications post-booking are subject to availability and may incur additional costs.

5. HEALTH, SAFETY & TRAVEL INSURANCE

5.1 Traveler’s Responsibility: You must ensure that you are physically fit for travel and inform us of any medical conditions or dietary restrictions in advance.

5.2 Insurance Requirement: All travelers must have international medical insurance for the duration of the tour. We strongly recommend obtaining comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and other potential risks.

6. ACCOMMODATION & MEALS

6.1 Lodging Standards: Accommodations vary depending on the package selected. Any concerns should be reported immediately.

6.2 Dietary Restrictions: Meal inclusions are specified in the itinerary. Travelers must disclose dietary needs at the time of booking, though specific accommodations are not guaranteed.

7. TRANSPORTATION

7.1 Vehicles: Depending on the group size, transport will be provided via air-conditioned 4×4 vehicles, vans, or minibuses.

7.2 Driver & Guide: A professional driver-guide will accompany your journey. If you experience any issues, please inform us immediately.

8. LIABILITY & LIMITATIONS

8.1 Responsibility Disclaimer: We are not liable for unforeseen events (e.g., flight delays, lost luggage, accidents beyond our control).

8.2 Traveler Conduct: You are responsible for your behavior and any damages caused during the trip.

9. AGE & SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

9.1 Minimum Age: The minimum age for unaccompanied travelers is 18. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

9.2 Special Requests: Any special requirements (e.g., mobility limitations, allergies) must be disclosed at booking. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate them but cannot guarantee availability.

10. IMAGES & MARKETING

10.1 Photography Consent: We may take photos or videos during the tour for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in such materials, please inform us in advance.

11. PRIVACY POLICY

11.1 Personal Data Use: Any personal information collected is used solely for booking and operational purposes. We do not share your details with third parties without your consent.

12. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By booking a tour with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
