DAY 1: FES – IFRAN – TOUDRA

 7 HOURS

Your Fes to Erg Chigaga Morocco desert tour will start at 07h30 AM with a pick-up from your Fez hotel / Riad. Depart Fes, winding up through the Ifran over the Moroccan Suisse where the views are quite splendid. A few stops are made for taking in the scenery and photography. After a stop for lunch, you will continue to Todra Gorges where you’ll be staying in a lovely bed and breakfast. If it’s hot, you can relax in the shade of the gardens or take a dip in the pool.

DAY 2: GORGES – ZAGORA – ERG CHIGAGA DESERT CAMP

 6 HOURS

Then N’Kob (small Berber village); Then traversing the Draa Valley by track to Bni Zoli. Our stops will be scheduled to choose to enjoy the scenery, and take pictures, we will go to Zagora, lunch, and the Continuation of M’hamid Sahara Desert, on the road. The Other stop at Tamgroute to visit the Koranic library. Thirdly, the popular pottery, and the underground streets. Afterward we will take the road to Erg Chigaga desert camp in the afternoon, arrive to have a camel ride in the beautiful dunes of Erg Chigaga, have dinner, and overnight in tents.

DAY 3: ERG CHIGAGA DESERT CAMP – FOUM ZGUID – OUARZAZATE

After breakfast at Erg Chigaga desert camp, the road guides us by another 90km of the desert with varying scenery: we head to cross the flat dried salt lake of Iriqui and the Anti Atlas mountains, following the old track of “Rally Paris Dakar”. Then to the village Foum Zguid the first village after the desert, where the paved road begins. After lunch, continue to the Berber village of Taznakht, popular for its carpets and rugs. We arrive in Ouarzazate late in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Ouarzazate.

DAY 4: OUARZAZATE – ATLAS MOUNTAINES – MARRAKECH

 4 HOURS

After breakfast, we can experience a visit to the film studios located just outside Ouarzazate, which is known as the Hollywood of Africa. We then continue to visit the world heritage site of Kasbah Ait Ben Hadou, previously used as a set for more than 20 Hollywood blockbusters including “Gladiator” “Indiana Jones” and “Lawrence of Arabia”. Enjoy a walk to explore the traditional Moroccan style of architecture in which the Kasbahs are built. We extend our route to Marrakech over the High Atlas Mountains and Tizi n’Tichka pass. Depending on time, lunch can be served in Ait Ben Hadou or in the Atlas Mountains on the way to Marrakesh. Arrival at Marrakech by 17h00 PM.
